Our company will perform the services selected by you on the day stated
In the event that we cannot carry out the service as indicated we will let you know as soon as possible and re-arrange for the soonest available day. We will accept no liability for failing to perform the services on time or not at all. To cancel an appointment we require 24 hours notice. We may at our discretion issue a charge to recover the costs of lost business if less than 24 hours notice is given. In the event that our staff turn up to provide our service but are unable to do so due to no fault of our own we will issue a charge to cover the costs, this will be described as a failed delivery charge.
Customers will be be required to pay a deposit of 25% of the total job value to secure their booking.
Commercial Customers: You will be invoiced on completion of the work, the total amount due on the invoice is payable within 14 days (this is subject to credit check). Commercial clients with bad credit will be asked to pay for our service up front in full before any work is undertaken.
Where applicable any invoice not paid after 30 days from the date of issue will be subject to a late payment fee of 5% of the initial invoice value and interest will continue to be added at the rate of 5% per week.
Domestic Customers: You will be invoiced immediately on completion of work and the total due on the invoice is payable immediately. If the balance is not paid within three business days we reserve the right to add interest to the outstanding balance at a rate of 5% per week
Any cheques received that are returned unpaid are liable for an additional 5% charge. Go cardless customers please be aware that the date the payment leaves your account and the date the service is received will not necessarily marry up but the payment received will be for works completed in the same calendar month.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with our service for any reason and would like to make a complaint please send an email with subject ‘service complaint’ to [email protected]
We will then review the complaint and contact you within 30 days.
Liability Disclaimer: Pressure washing can remove any loose or weakened pointing or surface layer. When pressure washing near buildings any loose or flaking paint can easily be blown off of walls. Although every measure is taken to reduce the risk of these events occurring London Bin Cleaning will accept no responsibility if these events occur.
Pressure washing can reveal pre-existing damage to the surfaces that are being cleaned. The company accepts no responsibility for pre-existing damage that may be revealed during pressure washing or at anytime after the pressure washing is complete.
Paint Removal Terms and Conditions
- Our Quotation allows for the works to be carried out in one continuous unimpeded site visit. However, should the works be halted through the actions of others, then a se-mobilisation and remobilisation sum of £350+vat, per instance will be acceptable.
- Should the job involve any hired in plant or access equipment and works be halted due to the actions of others LBC will pass any incurred hired in costs to the client which will be acceptable
- Paint Removal costs are estimated based on sample area results and should we encounter other areas where there is a different type of paint or removal is dissimilar to sample areas then LBC reserve the right to charge additional.
- Results could vary from sample areas depending on type of paint and condition of substrate.
- Our minimal pricing for a two man team and steam equipment for paint removal
- Please be aware that should various layers of paint not present in the sample be uncovered which require alternative methods for removal the works will have to be requoted.
- We have presumed that we will be provided full and safe access scaffolding to all of the necessary working areas. Unless cherry picker or scaffold tower access is quoted in our estimate.
- The scaffold is to be clad in monarflex sheeting.
- We have presumed that free access and use of a clean, potable mains pressure water supply will be provided.
- We have presumed that free access and use of an electrical supply will be provided.
- We have presumed that the Main Contractor will provide, on a free of charge basis, any necessary barriers, fencing or warning signage.
- We have presumed that access and use of welfare facilities, inclusive of a canteen, WC and hot water hand washing facilities will be provided.
- We have presumed that secure storage will be provided for the plant and materials necessary for our works
- We have presumed that skips & waste disposal facilities will be provided free of charge.
- We have presumed that the main contractor will arrange all necessary parking dispensations
- All necessary permissions for the works from the Local Authority and or other Governing Bodies will be sought and gained by others.
- We have presumed that no collection of run off water is required unless specifically specified.
- We have presumed that there is no lead or hazardous substances present in paintwork and the client should be responsible for any such testing of paintwork.
- If we have allowed for application of polythene protection to windows and potential points of water ingress within our quotation. Should this be torn, or removed by others, during the cleaning process, then a re-application cost will be incurred.

- Any specified materials/services requiring pro-forma payments will require simultaneous payment from the customer. Any off-site vesting can also be arranged in lieu.
Conditions
1 The following is to be provided free of charge:
- a) Suitable dry, safe storage area.
- b) Adequate water supply within 50m of working area.
- c) Adequate heating and weather protection for fixing conditions min. 5 degrees Celsius and rising
- d) Adequate 110v power supply max 25m from place of work.
- e) Protection of completed works prior to project completion.
- g) Any scaffold required including erection or dismantling over 2.5m
We will require a suitable area provided to us free of charge to enable our provision of storage, welfare, power and water sources. Daywork will only be executed once a written instruction has been received, if the content or hours submitted on our daywork sheets are in any way unsatisfactory then corrections must be made prior to the signed agreement of the sheet. No latter diversions/deductions to the signed hours or content will be entertained. No ulterior comments or statements will be entertained on the daywork sheets (i.e. FRPO).
4 All estimates are based on the information available at the time and are priced as a whole. If there are any reductions in the quantities, we reserve the right to re-price on the reduced quantities.
5 We retain title for all materials and labour fixed or unfixed, until payment has been made in full.
We reserve the right to remove fixed or unfixed materials if the latter is not complied with.
6 Should our works be increased we reserve the right to claim and be paid for additional preliminaries including Site supervision as necessary to ensure the increased works are executed safely/efficiently and in a controlled fashion.
7 If a Payment Notice or Withholding Notice has not been issued, then the amount of our application/invoice is payable without deduction. Late payments will be charged at 5% over Bank of England base rate.
9 In lieu of any order not being received or received and disputed, our payment terms are 7 day valuations with payment received 14 days later.
10 Retention on cleaning works are deemed 0%.
Also due to our quality management systems retention is not generally applicable.
11 Unless specifically itemised we have not included for: testing, warranties, design or design calculations, drawings, builders clean, out of hours working, waste removal from site, vertical distribution (including mechanically qualified operatives to assist with unloading.
Corona Virus Service Continuity Policy
Added terms to ensure our ability to continue delivering our services during the pandemic and the resulting economic climate mean that we have to apply stricter terms to our payment policy.
Any existing customers will have a credit limit imposed based on previous performance and average number of days taken to receive payment for services carried out in the past.
We will not perform additional works for customers until any overdue invoices are cleared.
New customers will have to pay an upfront deposit of 25% of the overall required works and will be invoiced with payment due in 7 working days. We reserve the right to add interest after this period.
